Salone del Mobile 2018 A world of true inspiration

Alberto SchiattiNews

From 17-22 April 2018, almost 450,000 attendees from 188 countries were inspired to visit the world’s most influential design exhibition in Milan. The 26% increase in visitors over 2017 provided further evidence of the power of design excellence – and there was much of this to see; some 1,841 exhibitors provided a stunning show of creativity, and highly desirable products to attract the premium customer. As well as the exhibitors, the entertainment and hospitality ensured Salone del Mobile 2018 was a cultural event in itself, and its legacy of inspiration to all whom visited will be unforgotten – until the 2019 show!

New products and catalogues from Schiatti brands

Alberto SchiattiNews

2017 was a remarkable year for the brands represented by Schiatti. With an increasing consumer confidence in the premium furniture sector, the creativity and design excellence demonstrated by the Schiatti brands ensured that their respective products continue to be the must-haves amongst discerning customers. There were many notable new products displayed in 2017, most notably at the Salone del Mobile; as the close of 2017 approaches, we wanted to show some of the Schiatti favourites from the year – and provide some useful links to the brands’ catalogues as a reminder of the year’s highlights.

2016 Salone del Mobile an incredible success

Alberto SchiattiNews

When the 55th Salone del Mobile interior design show closed its doors on
17 April, almost 375,000 visitors had attended what is now regarded as the
premier interior design show in the world. Evidence of the show’s increasing
international stature was that the number of attendees was up almost 4% on
the 2014 show – the last time the biennial kitchen and bathroom exhibitions
took place. The visitors to the show, which included the Italian Prime Minister,
Matteo Renzi, were treated to a truly stunning showcase of Italian creativity
and manufacturing expertise.
